The evidence we’ve reviewed comes from 26 supporting assertions, all pointing to the presence of these very small plastics in sea salt. No studies we analyzed refuted this. Still, our current analysis is limited to what has been reported so far, and we can’t say for sure how much absorption occurs or what long-term effects, if any, this might have.
