Why this might work

GLP-1 agonists reduce appetite and food intake, causing the body to burn more energy than it takes in. To make up for the energy shortfall, the body breaks down muscle tissue to release amino acids for fuel and sugar production. At the same time, losing weight reduces the physical stress on bones, and the drop in fat tissue lowers hormones that protect bone, so bones lose density. This process happens even when people try to eat more protein or exercise, because the energy deficit is too strong.
