Why this might work

When a person breathes slowly and deeply six times per minute, the chest expands and pulls blood into the chest cavity, lowering pressure around the brain. This causes fluid around the brain to flow inward. At the same time, the breathing pattern changes carbon dioxide levels in the blood, making brain blood vessels widen and fill with more blood. This increase in blood volume pushes fluid out of the brain, then pulls it back in rhythm with each breath.
