The exosuit pulls on the thighs and shoulders to take some of the strain off the lower back muscles during bending and lifting. This makes the muscles work less, so they produce fewer chemical byproducts and feel less stretched. These changes reduce signals sent from the muscles to the brain about how hard the body is working. With fewer of these signals, the brain perceives the task as less tiring, even if the mental effort stays the same. When people feel less physically drained, they are more likely to find the device comfortable and want to use it again.
