Why this might work

When muscles don't move often or get loaded, they stop taking in sugar efficiently and stop burning fat well. This causes sugar and fat to build up in the wrong places like the liver and muscle tissue, and the body loses its ability to switch between using sugar and fat for energy. The fat tissue also becomes inflamed and less able to handle fat properly, which worsens the problem. All of this happens even if total calorie burn hasn't changed.
