Why this might work

High-dose vitamin C generates hydrogen peroxide outside cancer cells. Cancer cells cannot break down this hydrogen peroxide because they lack a key enzyme, so it builds up inside them. This buildup activates a special drug that releases a poison that breaks DNA. The same hydrogen peroxide also reacts with iron naturally present in cancer cells, creating even more damaging chemicals that wreck DNA further. Normal cells break down the hydrogen peroxide and have little iron, so they stay unharmed. The combined DNA destruction kills all cancer cells and stops tumors from coming back.
