Why this might work

In older female mice, liver cells and immune cells build up more aging markers called p16, which makes them release harmful chemicals that cause chronic inflammation and damage mitochondria. When these aging cells are removed, the inflammation stops, mitochondria recover, and the liver, skin, and muscles start working better again. Male mice do not build up as many of these aging cells, so removing them does nothing.
