Strong Support
In adults who have recovered from Cushing’s disease, following a daily eating schedule from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. for 12 weeks is linked to a substantial decrease in cortisol levels in urine, which may reflect changes in the activity of the stress hormone system.

This study found that adults with Cushing’s disease who ate only between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. for 12 weeks had much lower levels of the stress hormone cortisol in their urine, which is exactly what the claim says. It suggests eating at consistent times may help calm an overactive stress system.
