Why this might work

When older adults have low glutathione, N-acetylcysteine provides the building block cysteine to make more glutathione. This extra glutathione cleans up harmful molecules produced during exercise, which protects the energy factories in muscle cells. With less damage, these factories make more energy, muscles contract stronger and longer without tiring, and the body stops wasting energy on inflammation and muscle breakdown.
