Why this might work

When the body doesn't get enough magnesium, it can't make enough MgATP, which is needed for insulin-producing cells to release insulin properly and for insulin to signal cells to take up sugar. Without enough magnesium, insulin receptors can't activate, inflammation increases, and the body stores less sugar as glycogen. This causes blood sugar to stay high and leads to type 2 diabetes.
