Why this might work

Vitamin C creates hydrogen peroxide outside cancer cells, which enters them because cancer cells cannot break it down well. Inside, the hydrogen peroxide triggers a special drug to release a poison that breaks DNA. At the same time, iron in the cancer cells turns the hydrogen peroxide into an even more destructive force that shreds DNA further. Normal cells break down the hydrogen peroxide and have little iron, so they stay unharmed.
