A government research program called the Interventions Testing Program shares all its study results—whether good or bad. But supplement companies usually hide bad news about their products because it might hurt sales.

The study shows the ITP testing multiple supplements and reporting which ones worked (astaxanthin and meclizine extended lifespan) and which didn't (fisetin and others had no significant effect). This proves the ITP publishes both positive and negative results, supporting the claim about their transparency.
