Racial differences between African-American and white women in insulin resistance and visceral adiposity are associated with differences in apoCIII containing apoAI and apoB lipoproteins
This study looked at how two groups of women had different levels of certain fat-carrying molecules in their blood. It found patterns, like one group having more of one kind and less of another, but it didn’t change anything to see if that caused health problems. So we can say these things are linked, but we can’t say one thing makes the other happen.
