Oral and topical peptides for skin aging: systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials
This study is like a super-study that combined the results from 19 smaller studies where people were given either peptide pills or creams and compared to a placebo (fake treatment). The combined results show that peptides can help with skin moisture and brightness, and a little bit with wrinkles, but we aren't completely sure because the studies were different from each other and some weren't perfectly done. So we can say peptides probably help, but we can't say for sure they cause these changes.
