Why this might work

As people get older, the nerves that control fast-twitch muscles start to die off. Without nerve signals, these muscles shrink or turn into slow-twitch muscles. Because slow-twitch muscles have less fast myosin protein, the overall amount of fast myosin in the thigh muscle goes down.
