Scientists gave mice or other lab animals food with three different supplements, but accidentally gave much smaller amounts than they planned. Even with less supplement, two of them (astaxanthin and meclizine) still made the animals live longer.

The study fed mice three different drugs in their food, but the actual amounts they got were lower than planned (less than half for two of them). Even with these lower doses, two of the drugs (astaxanthin and meclizine) still made the male mice live longer. The third drug (dimethyl fumarate) didn't work, likely because the dose was too low.
