This study investigates how the transcription factor Nfil3 integrates circadian rhythm and gut microbial signals to regulate metabolic and immune homeostasis under high-fat diet (HFD) stress, using both human PBMC data and mouse models with Nfil3 deletion and VSL#3 probiotic intervention.
