This study watched a group of people for 7 years to see if those with more 'brain power' (how well they use their brain) were less likely to get memory problems. They found that people with higher brain power were less likely to start having memory issues, but they didn't test any medicines or treatments, so we can't say for sure that having more brain power causes the benefit – it might be because those people are smarter to begin with or have other healthy habits.
