The Study
A Clinical Trial Shows Improvement in Skin Collagen, Hydration, Elasticity, Wrinkles, Scalp, and Hair Condition following 12-Week Oral Intake of a Supplement Containing Hydrolysed Collagen
Imagine you have two groups of people: one group takes a special drink every day, and the other takes a fake drink that looks the same. Neither the people nor the doctors know who gets which drink. After 12 weeks, the group that took the real drink had better skin – it was more hydrated, bouncier, and had fewer wrinkles. Their hair also looked healthier. So we can say the drink probably caused these improvements. But we can't say it made hair grow more, because the number of hairs didn't change much.
